Sunroom... yeah no I totally got it

I don't actually know what a sunroom is. Maybe we just don't have them in the South... I don't know why we'd need one. Every room is a sunroom at the right time of year.

Are sunrooms like a greenhouse? A tree fell into my grandma's greenhouse last summer and shattered half the glass. The insurance man replaced the glass, but now it's lost its charm.

Can you insure a sunroom? What if the sun goes away? What if a meteor strikes the earth and blocks out all the light? Ya know, assuming we don't suffocate to death?

Do they have sunrooms where the sun don't shine? Guess that's just a regular room then.

Update: y'all. I looked it up. A sunroom is just a fancy ass porch. It's just... a sealed back porch.

Either I look like an idiot for not knowing what a sunroom is or y'all look like idiots for calling a porch anything other than a porch...

Jesus. I think I need to go home.
